The vehicle sensor lets you know any time a vehicle enter or exits your property. The vehicle sensor detects metal and is activated by the movement of a vehicle or any metal object within a 14 foot area of the sensor.

The vehicle sensor probe best operates when buried about 6 inches deep beside or under your driveway. Then position the transmitter in a tree or on a fence post. The actual size of the probe 1 inch by 15 inches and will come with 80 feet of wire. When the probe is activated the transmitter will then send a wireless signal to the receiver plugged into a 120 volt outlet in your home , where a 3 second alarm is sounded. The transmitter also has a 12 inch telescopic antenna to transmit the signal up to 500 feet. The receiver has an on/off switch so that you may use the alarm when you desire. Should a more pleasant chime be desired you may disable the siren and connect any electromechanical doorbell to the spring loaded clips on the receiver. Installation is very simple. No electrician is necessary. A chain saw or lawn edger works well to dig a trench about 3 inches deep to bury the wire or you may rent a gas powered trencher from the local rental center. After digging the trench bury the 3 strand shielded exterior wire ( about 1/4" in diameter).
